Craig Cohon (Крейг Кохон)
Founder of WALK IT BACK
Craig Cohon is an entrepreneur and investor based in London, known (to date) primarily for his extensive international business experience and his contribution to the development of the entertainment industry. He has played key roles in major companies such as Coca-Cola and Cirque du Soleil in Russia, helping to transform businesses across the country since 2000.
Based on his highly successful corporate career to date, Craig is committed to reducing his personal carbon footprint as well as promoting a lifestyle that is environmentally friendly and with minimal carbon emissions.
In early 2023, he began executing his epic campaign called "Walk It Back" to show by personal example how he can remove thousands of tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
The idea is that over the course of five months - from 3 January to 4 June 2023 - Craig will walk more than 4,000km, from London to Istanbul. Along the way, he meets mayors of the towns and villages he passes through. CEOs of major companies - from France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria and Turkey - are joining him on his walks. At the same time, Craig's own 'walk' is open to all enthusiastic people who share his mission to restore their personal carbon footprint.
As part of his commitment to preserving the health of the planet, Craig Cohon supports local projects to decarbonise energy, transport, industry, agriculture, oceans and buildings. For many years, Cohon has also been an investor and chairman of Worn Again, a technology innovation company that works closely with H&M to develop circular textile recycling technology.
